A small sketch in which I explore the most expressive feature of the human face the eye. I enjoy observing how even a single eye can convey mood, character, and a whole story. Here, I intentionally left the piece in a sketch format: the texture of the paper, the lines, the search for form, and the lively traces of the process are all visible. The two eyes seem to reflect different states . One is cooler, deep, almost contemplative. The other is warm, golden, and filled with light. Yet both remain slightly mysterious, as we never quite know what they are looking at.
